Chuck Liddell said it best: Kimbo is being built up to be big star but hasn't done anything to warrant his success. He has no ground game and he's only beaten up guys on the street.

Chuck said he could easily do what Kimbo did; Just go out and beat a bunch of bums up in the street.

He might be right. I hated that dude until I read an the latest Espn mag. He's not boasting himself up for it's the media and I'm no longer gonna hate on a guy who's making the most of his situation. He never asked to be a media hype just fell into it. He never said, he could lay the smack down on mma's best. It's a great article for he's actually I decent guy...I know that sounds like I'm blowing smoke up at yah because what his physical appearance looks like but it's the truth. Check out that article. I no longer hate him...I'm not a huge fan of him either but he's living the American dream. I could see why MMA fighters hate him for they had to work their way up the ranks but once again was never looking for a shortcut and got into mma by accident.

That's not saying a lot for I would take BJ Penn vs. anyone..except Fedor // Yo, Showbanks did u check out some of those streetfights ?

BJ Penn is my favorite fighter so I'm kinda biased with him. He's going to go out and start collecting belts. Have a man crush on that dude. Maybe, I shouldn't be telling people that.

ehhhhhh MMA is still a joke, until they get rid of the f'ing chokeouts. I wanna see a damn fight, not 15 seconds and then drop tot he ground. I just don't see how a real man would choke out someone he is fighting, thats what bitches do. Why not bite and pull hair too???

I remember watching one of the earliest UFC's when 170lb Royce Gracie was beating anyone of every size. He introduced JuJitsu to MMA and all these boxing,wrestlers,tae-kwon-do,kung fu, and karate fighters could not beat him. He simply getting breaking joints and cutting off people's oxygen. Jim Brown was one of the guest of the host and said it best when he said, "Fighting is not what what we thought it was".
Jujitsu offers a chessmatch on the ground..a small dude could gripple a little dude for all a big dudes strength and striking power go out the window when their bodies are 6-8" apart on the ground for there is no room to draw your fist back. If somone with Jit skills has the ability to put a Steve Atwater or Ray Lewis on someone and put them on them their back..then a big/strong dude is like a fish out of water and will soon get himself into a world of trouble. Skilled fighting as evolved and it's no longer one guys throws a punch and the other guy tries to throw a punch back to see who is going to get knocked out. Besides MMA stand up game is still lot more exciting than boxing with the 4oz gloves. It might not be for everyone but it's getting a lot more popular.

Mulk fired up his opinion which I disagree with but definitely thankful he shared his opinion. Anyone, cool with MMA or think it's weak ?

it needs to take away the choke outs, it needs to be more fan friendly. It is coming along, but to watch one guy throw a weak punch then the second guy try to tackle him, both fall to the ground and one chokes the other out, thats not entertainment!! Do SOMETHING, ANYTHING to make it a legit FIGHT. The way i see it, if your such a great fighter, why do you need to choke them? Would Bruce Lee choke a guy? It is light years beyond boxing at this point, but to be the juggernaut boxing Was, it needs entertainment, it needs flash. Guys like Chuck Liddel help alot, but watching two dudes fall to the ground and wrap their bodies around eachother for 45 seconds then back to 45 mintues of poor comentary until the next minte and a half fight isn't worth $60 bucks on PPV.
